“Yoga Warrior 365 Review”

I didn’t know exactly how much I was going to like Rudy Mettia and Yoga Warrior 365. In fact I was downright surprised that I could relate to him so much. On top of being a swell guy, and an extremely talented Yogi, he is also the father to a beautiful little girl who truly is his world.

I have been practicing yoga for years now, in and out of classes and through various DVDs. It was not until I received a copy of Yoga Warrior 365 that I felt like I really connected with the teacher, the classes, and its goals. The cool thing about Yoga Warrior 365 is that it allows you to find your own truth through the yoga process. Maybe you have a few minutes a day, maybe you have a couple hours for just a few days a week, or maybe you want to go by the schedule that Rudy suggests. Whatever the case it is an all encompassing DVD series that allows you to revisit classes that you like, and work your way through your own yogic journey.

Not only is Rudy the type of guy I found that I liked being at the head of this yoga series, but he’s also the type of guy you’d like to go get a drink with. Funny, talented and knowledgable, giving his practice and understanding that we all have different needs that these DVDs can meet. Sometimes yoga can be a little off putting for people that are new to the poses, especially when mantras start being chanted that you don’t understand, and rules are being set for your personal life by egotistical yoga instructors. To me, yoga has always been about finding your own path, and defining what the yoga experience can share with you. I am not, and never will be a human pretzel, but yoga has already changed my life. My path with yoga waxes and wanes, and I have found that yoga is much more than a few stretches, and as much or as little as I would like it to be.

Rudy is not what you would expect if you were trying to picture a yogi. It’s precisely this that made his way of simple teaching so appealing to me. Easy enough for the beginner, and challenging enough for an experienced Yogi, this DVD series has something for everyone. After all Rudy is an ex-Marine who is as gentle as a kitten. He’s already a walking contradiction, and that goes to show that yoga truly does have a place for us all.

The Yoga Warrior 365 program is based on power yoga, and is designed for both those that want structure and those that crave freedom. You can follow the program Calendar, or blaze your own path. Skip the DVD’s you don’t enjoy, and find the ones you do. The great part about this series is that it is there precisely when you need it. Some days I need a yoga class to be at 10 PM after the kiddo is tucked into bed. Other days I’d like it to be at 4 o’clock in the morning when I can’t sleep. That’s what makes having these classes available to you so important. To me it encourages me to practice yoga more because I can do it at my convenience and usually, in my underwear.

Yoga Warrior 365 includes an intro that gives you a little insight into Rudy and his classes, along with 12 full yoga classes that all run about an hour long and two bonus class DVDs. If you were going to pick up one all-encompassing set to get into yoga this would be it. There is enough information and enough classes for you to continue on, at least with the physical part of yoga, until your very last breath.

I love Rudy’s technique! I began my practice about a year ago with another Udaya program and Tried a few of Rudy’s routines in the interim. During this time I’ve had the time to explore what works best for me and when. I know Rudy’s W365 would be most valuable to my practice. I’ve been meaning to get it for a while now but just haven’t been able to. I’d be so grateful to win Rudy’s W365! Namaste Y’all and keep breathin’ ;)

I’d love to win because I have been trying to get into a yoga routine but I’ve been having trouble piecing one together on my own jumping around the Internet. I am hoping it will help me with everything from my anxiety issues to my pain problems. I feel like I need yoga in my life but I need help. I really want to try this!

I am new to yoga and have been looking for something that will work with my schedule. As a mom of a special needs child as well as a super busy toddler I am not usually available to attend a class. This would be perfect!
