4 cups chicken stock
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick-cooking grits
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce
2 eggs, beaten
Combine stock and salt in a medium saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil. Stir in grits and cook according to package directions. Remove from heat and stir in cheese, butter, milk, and TABASCO® Sauce. Add eggs and mix well.
Pour grits into a lightly greased casserole. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
