Hot wings are never quite hot enough for me. When I had a craving for some wings to go with a boxing match I ordered on pay per view, I knew I had to make my own recipe if I wanted to impress my friends and please my own taste buds. I don’t eat much fried food, so these are baked, but you would never know the difference. They were delicious and crisp. Here is what I came up with. It a good recipe, hotter than any other wings you’ve ever tried, and tastier too.
Heart Breaking Hot Wings
2 dozen wings (or a dozen wings and a dozen drumsticks)
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp pepper
1/2 cup Heartbreaking dawns hot sauce (I used 1/4 cup 1498 Hot Sauce and 1/4 cup Fire Burn Babylon Hot Sauce)
1 tsp dried parsley
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp melted butter
Liberally sprinkle salt, pepper, parsley, paprika, and garlic powder to the wings and place them on a wire rack over a cookie sheet.
Place the wings in the oven at 400 degrees F, and set the timer for 15 minutes. Flip the wings over and bake for another 15 minutes.
While wings are baking, prepare hot wing sauce. Combine melted butter and hot sauce in a bowl and stir.
When wings are finished baking, toss wings in hot sauce until evenly coated and serve. You can also serve the hot wings with ranch or blue cheese dressing, carrots and celery, but I like to pair mine with…more hot wings and a cold drink.
Enjoy!!! PS, these wings aren’t for the novice, so eat with caution!!!
